The 21-year-old utility back is a very much a rising star of the international game and made an explosive start to his Ireland career.

Earls made his debut at outside centre against Canada in 2008 and scored within three minutes.

He also played against New Zealand in the autumn internationals and has been a starring player in Munster's run to the Heineken Cup semi-finals.

With just two caps under his belt and a mere 24 appearances for Munster, Earls is something of a surprise inclusion, but if potential is to be rewarded, he has it in spades.

Could end up as one of the stars of the tour if he gets his chance.
